The best part about wedge hairstyles is that they’re fairly simple to keep. I applied Aveda’s Pure Abundance Style Prep and Phomolient prior to drying her hair to give it some volume . I finished it off by spraying Aveda air Control hairspray. This style looks fantastic on various hair kinds (straight or wavy, even that have soft curls). She leads a fairly active lifestyle and has wore the longer version of her hair too. We are always returning to this version that is shorter.

This style is curly wedge. I use more intense highlights than I would do on straight hair as curly hair tends to naturally mix colors. The bright color and an angled haircut adds volume by drawing the eye towards the individual curls. Being shorter in the back and longer at the front, it creates massive volume and motion through the back, and maintains a “safe” the length of her facial. Also, it draws her face upwards to create a flattering shape.
Do you have any suggestions for someone who is thinking about the idea?
This haircut is ideal for those who want add some dimension to their curls by showcasing a chic cut while keeping their routine neat and simple. For a face with a round shape make sure the length of the front is greater than that of the jawline, to draw your eyes more upwards and down. What would you say about this style?
Mixing the bowl with Bob cut, and added some texture by texturing the hair’s back. The color I was inspired by was beginning with Redken bleach, and then glazing using the Shades EQ gloss 09v/ 09t/09p/09b/clear in equal portions.
After glossing I applied the fusio dosio protein treatment using Kerastase (concentrate vitamin cement to boost shine) followed by drying with Uemura Shu straight forward blow dry spray. Then I hairstyled using Shu Uemura Uzu Cotton to give texture as well as volume and shape.

I developed this wedge-style hairstyle that is suitable for all hair kinds. Particularly, it is suitable for medium to fine hair thickness, and straight and curly. What would you say about this style?
This could be a hybrid between a pixie or a smooth bob. I style most pixie hairstyles with the same method cutting back and sides before deciding which direction to take for the top part.
For this particular haircut I used an horseshoe-shaped section, cut the sides and back very short. I left the remainder of hair longer. I cut in a circular. It’s a bit edgy, however it’s extremely soft. This is my personal hairstyle that I love the most. It lets you take more freedom of expression even though you’re making the style more conventional.

The look is quite universal. It is possible to achieve similar short wedge cuts without the huge disconnect that this haircut comes with.
